FIS launches Agentic Insights Suite for CFO cash and risk forecasting

FIS has launched FIS Agentic Insights Suite, an agentic AI solution designed for the office of the CFO. The platform combines fragmented internal and external financial data to provide forward-looking information on cash and risk.

The suite also includes a new cash flow forecasting module that projects liquidity across configurable time horizons. FIS positions the product as a response to finance teams that need to protect cash while working with data spread across disconnected systems and tools that often show what happened only after money has moved.

FIS targets the gap between AI interest and adoption

FIS says working capital pressure has increased as the cost of capital remains elevated and finance operations span more markets and systems. Finance teams are showing stronger interest in agentic AI, but implementation remains limited.

According to Deloitte's Finance Trends 2026 survey, 46% of global finance leaders identified working capital optimisation as a leading use case for agentic AI. Only 14% said they had fully integrated AI agents into the finance function.

FIS presents Agentic Insights Suite as a way to reduce the gap between interest in agentic AI and its operational use in finance.

The suite connects credit, treasury and market data

Andrés Choussy, President, Capital Markets at FIS, said most finance teams can explain what happened to cash in the previous quarter but cannot predict the next month with the same confidence. He said the suite combines credit, treasury and market signals so CFOs can see where risk is developing before it reaches the books.

FIS says this changes the finance function from reporting on cash after events occur to managing liquidity and risk more proactively.

Agentic Insights Suite acts as a central intelligence layer

The platform is designed as a central hub that gathers data, performs analysis and recommends actions rather than automating a single finance process. It connects information from ERP, treasury and CRM systems with external credit bureau and public data.

The data is cleaned and reconciled to create a shared source for finance, credit and treasury teams. Accounts are scored in real time, with recommended next actions intended to help teams prioritise the most important risks.

Users can also ask questions in natural language and review results through dashboards with standardised reporting across teams.

Cash flow forecasting uses machine learning and simulations

The cash flow forecasting module uses machine learning and simulations to model multiple possible outcomes instead of producing one forecast. Finance teams can configure different time horizons and test the effect of delayed inflows or faster outflows on liquidity.

This allows users to assess how different payment and cash movement scenarios could affect the company's future cash position.

FIS connects the suite with receivables and treasury products

Agentic Insights Suite begins with a self-service setup and can be deployed within weeks, according to FIS. It works as an intelligence layer across the company's receivables products GETPAID and BillerIQ, as well as treasury products Integrity and Quantum.

FIS says the suite is intended to help finance teams identify efficiency improvements and manage days sales outstanding without necessarily increasing headcount. Future releases are planned to add payment anomaly detection and dispute forecasting.
