Huawei launches Fintelligent AI solution for financial institutions

Huawei has launched Fintelligent, an AI solution designed for financial institutions. The China-based technology company presented the platform during the Global Finance Summit at HUAWEI CONNECT 2026 in Shanghai.

During the event, the CEO of Huawei's Digital Finance Business Unit presented the proposition "Own Your AI, Own Your Intelligence". Huawei positions Fintelligent as a response to the security, scalability and sustainability challenges banks and other financial institutions face when deploying AI at enterprise scale.

Fintelligent is built around three intelligent factories

The solution is structured around three components described by Huawei as intelligent factories: Agent Factory, Token Factory and Data-Knowledge Factory. Together, they are designed to connect data, knowledge, tokens and AI agents under one architecture.

Huawei says the model is intended to help financial institutions move from isolated AI applications toward enterprise-wide AI systems. The architecture is also designed to support centralised management and reuse of AI-related assets.

Agent Factory focuses on enterprise AI agents

Agent Factory is designed to help banks build, operate and manage AI agents at scale. It supports the creation, accumulation, reuse and unified management of agent assets across an organisation.

The component is based on openJiuwen, Huawei's open-source platform for multi-agent collaboration. Huawei describes it as being built on a financial-grade production kernel with support for stable long-running operations, financial-grade components and combined development and operations capabilities.

The platform provides a common foundation for institutions to build, run, manage and govern AI agents across different business functions.

Token Factory manages AI token operations

Token Factory is centred on TokeNexus, a full-lifecycle token operations solution. It covers planning, production, scheduling and global optimisation of token usage.

Huawei says the solution is designed to help financial institutions control the cost and performance of token consumption as AI deployments grow. It is also intended to improve the reliability and sustainability of token supply across larger AI environments.

Data-Knowledge Factory converts financial data into reusable intelligence

Data-Knowledge Factory is designed to transform bank data, documents and business rules into knowledge that AI agents can use. Huawei describes the resulting capability as an institution's own domain intelligence.

Alongside this component, Huawei introduced the Financial Agentic Data Solution. The product focuses on building data and knowledge pipelines that continuously provide information to financial AI agents.

Huawei also presented an AI coding solution that uses an ontology-based approach to extract business rules embedded in legacy code and convert them into reusable knowledge assets. The company says this is intended to support the modernisation of core banking systems.

Huawei targets the growing market for agentic AI in banking

The Fintelligent launch places Huawei among technology vendors building infrastructure for agentic AI in financial services. Banks are increasingly evaluating how to deploy AI agents while maintaining control over data, models, infrastructure and governance.

The offering addresses this through a model that combines agent management, token operations and data-to-knowledge infrastructure. It is aimed at institutions looking to scale AI beyond individual use cases into broader operational environments.
