Miden simplifies payments with contactless cards and wallet integration
Miden, a fintech infrastructure startup, has added NFC contactless payments and a digital wallet compatible with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay to its card platform.
The platform simplifies operations for African fintech companies by consolidating card issuance, fee collection, payouts, and global payments into a single system. Tokenization ensures card data security, and device-specific tokens enable seamless contactless transactions without exposing sensitive information.
By handling multiple payment functions in a single stack, Miden reduces the operational complexity that often slows down innovation in financial technology. Companies no longer need to manage separate providers or reconcile multiple systems, allowing teams to focus on building products rather than solving back-end issues.
Tap-to-Pay is now available, and businesses can integrate it using the Miden card issuance API or update existing programs via the dashboard.
