Revolut will enable seamless checkout across all agentic commerce platforms in the UK and EEA

Revolut, a global financial leader, today announced a new strategic pillar for Revolut Pay, adapting its seamless one-tap checkout solution to the growing agentic commerce ecosystem. This strategy is underpinned by Revolut Pay becoming one of the first EU payment methods to comply with Google's Agent Payments Protocol (AP2). This strategic focus is designed to position Revolut Pay both as a secure, universal one-tap payment solution for consumers and as an effective sales-boosting tool for Revolut Business merchants in conversational and automated shopping environments.

Through close collaboration with Google, Revolut has become one of the first EU payment methods compatible with AP2. AP2 is an open protocol developed in collaboration with leading payment and technology companies to enable the secure initiation and execution of agent-driven payments across different platforms. Combined with industry rules and standards, it creates a payment method-neutral framework that allows users, merchants, and payment service providers to execute transactions with complete confidence, regardless of the type of payment method used. In addition, Revolut has contributed directly to the development of Google's open AP2 protocol, tailoring payment flows specifically for account-to-account payments.
