Unipaas expands into Ireland with J.P. Morgan Payments

Unipaas has extended its white-label payments offering for vertical SaaS platforms to Ireland. The services are provided in collaboration with J.P. Morgan Payments. The company plans to expand further across Europe, building on its existing business in the UK.

Payments embedded in SaaS platforms

With white-label services, SaaS platforms can offer card acceptance and payment services to their business customers under their own brand. Unipaas provides the technology, while J.P. Morgan Payments acts as the acquirer. The offering includes fraud controls and transaction routing designed to support higher authorisation rates.

J.P. Morgan Payments says that working with providers such as Unipaas helps its clients comply with local regulations, meet customer expectations and enter new markets. David Avgi, Unipaas co-founder and CEO, said the expansion into Ireland reflects strong demand from existing customers and the wider market.

According to Avgi, the move will enable Unipaas to support more SaaS platforms and the businesses they serve. The services are designed to help maintain payment continuity and simplify operations. The company plans to continue developing its payment solutions as it expands across Europe.

Building a European presence

Ludovic Houri, Head of Merchant Services for EMEA and APAC at J.P. Morgan Payments, described Ireland as an innovation-led economy and a natural next step in the companies’ work together. He said combining modern technology platforms with J.P. Morgan Payments’ acquiring capabilities in Europe creates a scalable foundation for commerce across the continent.

The move into Ireland extends Unipaas’ presence beyond the UK. Both companies describe it as a step towards wider European coverage. For J.P. Morgan Payments, partnerships with platform providers are part of its strategy to make transactions easier and reach businesses through the software they already use to run their operations.
