Flooss and Optty join forces to implement digital financing in the GCC payment system
Flooss, Bahrain's leading digital consumer finance platform, has announced a strategic partnership with Optty, a global payment infrastructure provider, to expand the availability of Flooss' digital financial solutions for commercial transaction processes in GCC countries.
Founded in Bahrain by Fawaz Ghazal and Tarik Al Saffar, Flooss was created to fill structural gaps in access to Sharia-compliant consumer finance, particularly for digitally active customers who are underserved by traditional lending models. The founders bring complementary expertise in financial services, technology, and regulated consumer finance, shaping Flooss's focus on disciplined underwriting, transparency, and fully digital execution.
Thanks to this cooperation, Flooss financial products will be available to merchants, payment service providers (PSPs), payment gateways, and card transaction processors connected to the Optty platform, without the need for additional development work, through the direct integration of Flooss into the merchant transaction process. This will give consumers access to instant, regulated financing at the point of purchase, while merchants will benefit from the ability to offer a local, flexible payment option.
Flooss is a leader in the mobile consumer finance market, offering instant application approval and automatic income verification as part of a fully digital experience. By integrating with existing payment systems across various sectors, such as e-commerce, travel, education, insurance, and lifestyle, Flooss brings consumer finance to the point of transaction, while placing a strong emphasis on responsible lending and discipline in its execution.
"This partnership reflects our approach to the next stage of consumer finance development. We have always focused on creating a financial platform that combines rigorous credit policies with seamless digital service. Working with Optty allows us to extend this model to broader payment ecosystems without compromising on governance, transparency, or credit quality," said Fawaz Ghazal, founder and CEO of Flooss Group.
